The clips were easy to catch on things and broke off. The new pairs they sent me both have straight headphone jacks instead of angled ones. There are better sounding headphones on the market, but no over the ear, small headphone within $50 of these sound as good.
I suspect the cords simply don't take being wrapped up well. I slightly prefer the angled ones myself, but these new ones are iPhone compatible. I used one pair daily for over a year without any problems, but I left it at my desk the whole time.Koss replaced them under their lifetime warranty without any problems.
I've been using various Koss headphones with the same drivers for years. They still catch easily, but they snap in and out instead of breaking off. Both pairs of KSC75s I had lost sound in one ear after a few months of daily use and being carried around in my backpack. I've stopped wrapping the cords most of the time, and hopefully these new pairs will last longer.
My first pair, KSC55 I think, were very similar to these with one major design flaw. The KSC75 fixes this flaw by making the clips detachable.
They fit snugly over the ear but not too tight. However, the most important part is the sound.
All this for the price of about $12-$13. They give a good base sound that is full, rich and more pleasing than the ear buds stuck deep in your ear canal.
Like most everyone else, I can give these headphones a top notch rating. The cord is also plenty long enough.
Very happy with these. They will blow away anything else even close to their price range.
I use them while exercising at the gym and have no problems with them slipping off.
Very comfortable. Sound is not as good as Grado, but it is a fraction of the price so no complaints. Great sound for the price. Sounds better connected to headphone amp, but sounds good with mp3 players also.
Because the KSC-35 has a narrower clip, I find them effortless to wear. I've had mine for 25 years and love them more today than ever. I have both the original KSC-35 and the KSC-75. It has better bass and cleaner highs. They are the best headphone bang for the buck, period. I have smaller ears that lie closer to my head and the rubber coated clips on the KSC-75 separate my ear from my head too far. An hour or so causes a few couple of discomfort to my ears.
If you don't like clip-ons, then I recommend the PortaPro. These are great pocket headphones that won't irritate your ears or your wallet.
I find exactly the opposite, which I why I gave them a lower rating. If you want great sound in a cheap package, Koss has your answer.
Both have similar sound, using the same titanium driver as the PortaPro; however I feel the KSC-35 has a more natural sound. However there is a seam that runs along the edge of the clip that can be sharp but after a few passes with a nail file they are completely smooth.
Either way, you won't go wrong, just remember to ask your ears how they feel about it too. I have heard some people say they find the KSC-35 uncomfortable and the KSC-75 comfortable.
The longer I wear them the more pain I feel.
Instead of breaking the latches just pop off -- simply pop them back into place and it's like nothing ever happened.Besides the durability, the audio quality is more than satisfactory. They've got to be made out of some indestructible plastic I've never seen. These are the best sounding portable earphones I own. I've owned these for years and have brought them everywhere I travel. They even survived through a rough year living in a dorm.
